They can be. THey are usually the same texture of their surroundings and can often disguise themselves with natural objects (such as leaves, acorn shells and so on) Do you find this valuable?

Well not the leaf itself per se. But it may use the leaf to conceal itself (blend into the surroundings.) Do you find this valuable?

if it used a poisonous object to be concealed, would it be having the same effects on the thing that we do? Or with its nature bound spirit, will it encounter no effects?

I mean if it touched the thing

Have either of you read the book Tithe? I can't figure out if this one charicture is an elf or faerie.
That was actualy a good quetiuon, as raven pointed out. It is somethimes hard to figure out who is what in old movies like that.

Sometimes like I said, when the base things on creatures they don't always hold true to the form or legend so things get a little blurred.

Never heard of Tithe, but now I will look out for it.
