AL QOA, United Arab Emirates (AP) - Growing up in the Middle East, Myyas Ahmed al-Quarqaz only knew the Arabian oryx from postage stamps. The antelope made famous in Arabian poetry and by its associations with the unicorn legend had been hunted to near-extinction.
