indeed. that's why i said to anylyze the personification portrayed in different works of literature because as vampires are often defined from a theorized point of view it would be unrealistic to say a non-fictional source. I meant it from a total literary perspective, as in i meant to see how vampire personifications differed from each other, and how novelists portray them, but thank you.

Hey no worries. The fact that you admit that it is from a literary point of view is more than enough. Great to see someone who is interested in the classics and the modern works, as well as the legends.
