Witches and Wizards
A witch/wizard is a person who has great knowledge and power over the use of mystical forces. Most witches were members of covens of 13 members: 12 female witches and the devil with whom they would meet with at night. Usually a witch would have a demon in the form of an animal assist her, sometimes as a 'black cat.'

all Witches, male or female is called a Witch. the term Warlock means oath breaker, truth twister, and various things like that. It is actually an insult to a Witch to be called a Warlock.

that's rather outdated. Modern covens call all of their members witches; male and female alike.
