  • Drop Bears and the TRUTH Drop Bears are a more violent koala.
Most people believe that Drop Bears are real (Or so I've heard.. I'm Australian so this confuses me) But in fact a drop bear is an antagonised Koala. When a Koala feels threatened they often throw themselves from the branches to attack any predator come to harm their young. Usuallly attacking as the sun sets gives it the leopard-like look.
Bushwalkers are generally attacked more since they are unaware of the dangers Koala's possess. Their sharp claws can cut gouges out of a persons skin and makes a honey badger look like a kitten with the extend of injuries left.
Koala's when threatened or in mating season grunt deeply, it is a warning mechanism used to scare off larger predators.

Just expelling the rumours about Drop Bears since it's pretty crazy. What people think are Drop Bears are actually drunk young adults in trees that like jumping down on unsuspecting tourists (God Bless their rapidly beating hearts) and scaring the bejeebus out of everyone nearby, usually causing them to faint and the young adults to wander off cackling madly.
