You only see it that way because he controls such blights and is named after destruction and ruin. He is under the command of God (as shown by his compliance in the judgements and his control over hell) and is in no different relation than the Angel of Death. Satan, or the Devil, does not writhe in the prison where he lies, he has no effect on this world nor does he rule Hell, for he is a prisoner there. Even the plague of locust he commands are not as "evil" as you would assume when you compare it to the visages of other angels such as the four which reside near the throne. Abaddon/Apollyon just has a job in hell, doesn't mean he's no more righteous than any other guardian.

True, Everything is only upon HIS will. If it is against god he can speak it into nonexistance. The mixed messeges from religious sources are as confusing as mentions of the morning star. But remember, it is better to error on the side of caution and keep All of your faith invested in GOD.

"But remember, it is better to error on the side of caution and keep All of your faith invested in GOD. "That sounds more like advice for money. Should we invest some of our faith in a non-adjustable interest rate deity? Do you find this valuable? |
