Slender Man Sightings
Mar 8 2011, 4:17 PM EST | Post edited: Mar 8 2011, 4:17 PM EST
It's a little disturbing isn't it? The fact that there have suposedly been 1) sightings of supposed Slender Men 2) Kidnapped children around the time of a sighting and such.... It's more than a little disturbing? It may be possible that there is some truth to the myth, perhaps people utilising the myth for their nefarious purposes? Though I recall once, on a long drive from Preston (N.W england) to Newcastle (N.E england) I assumed to have seen the Headless horseman riding next to us in a dark graveyard, I blinked and it was gone, tricks of light, hallucinations and overactive imagination can cause mass effects 121  out of 156 found this valuable. "because thats slenderman you ****."
listen guys, and believers slenderman is not real. I repeat not real. In 2004 there was a photoshopping contest to see who could come up with the most disturibing aleinist picture. And the winner decided to take the photo and share it on youtube and make fake little sighting movies of it. It does get a little freaky but, it is still not true.

Yes but he has appeared long before that blog was created. People see things, especially children. I will admit many stories and theories are fake but there are those that are true. I have been seeing a tall shadow figure stalking me since I was a child. I didn't learn about slenderman until a few months ago. It's only now that I see other peoples stories matching up with my own, but I've been having these expire few all too long. Who knows what he really is. I agree that the creepy pasta has attributed to people's hysteria, but some stories may be true.

You are correct to some point.
While slenderman is new, the idea of an unnaturally slender figure has always caused most of humanity to **** bricks.

Tall, thin men in suits seem intimidating to most kids. Stretchy limbs are a superpower that seems to fit the Tall and Thin theme. Kids have overactive imaginations, more than adults. They're more likely to give the creepy guy imaginary powers and convince themselves it's true. Kid mentions it and disappears? PANIC! Kid mentions it and nothing happens? Not going to make the news.
Or he's real. Also possible.

The real reason slendy is interesting to me is the fact that he really can't hurt us.If you see slendy in real life you can probably just push one of his legs causing him to collapse, he has no mouth eyes or nose, he has no claws, he is literally harmless, and yet his image makes us **** bricks. 42  out of 55 found this valuable. I agree totally, my friend who I never really knew too well came up to me a few weeks ago and said he had an extremely disturbing dream of a tall thin figure with arms outstreched. about two weeks ago he went missing, I been doing reasearch and slenderman fits the desciption of the disapearence perfectly.

I believe slender man is real.i walk around my house,or anywhere else, and I'm constantly paranoid. My friends ask what's wrong with me all the time,or ask if I saw something.I,nor my family, have had a good past with the paranormal things.
I'm worried,what if i see it?
Do I run?
Take a picture? Or will something happen???
Please tell me!
