Shadow people
Jul 19 2011, 3:45 PM EDT | Post edited: Jul 19 2011, 3:45 PM EDT
Not to long ago(a couple of months),people were seeing some kind of creature that has never been seen before. They began calling these creatures shadow people, and I believe I've even seen them.No one really knows what they are, some say they're demons, some say they're ghosts, and some believe they are inter-dimensional beings checking on us.People report seeing them in the corner of their eyes and some people see them standing right in front of them.usually when someone sees them they will hide in a dark area or dash thru walls.People say they have some kind of mass, they can't put their finger on it.I want to get you're opinion on these creatures. What do you think they are? 26  out of 29 found this valuable. Shadow people have been an urban-legend favourite for years. Like the black-eyed kids.

Of those theories I'd support the inter-dimensional one. Though thought forms are always a possibility.

I've actually encountered one in my dream (or at least though I was dreaming but it felt so real). All I know was that it was after something probably my brother but for some reason couldn't get past me. And it would keep zipping back and forth and I would get a chill running down my spine everytime it passed me. Do you find this valuable?

An entity born of the mind. e.g. tulpa

They can be created in one of three ways. From excessive imagination, such as a child's imaginary friend. From a skilled mental practitioner, such as the Tibetan monks. From a collective consciousness, where a large group of people think and sometimes fear the same thing. Their combined thoughts are theorised to become actual and thus new sightings of the entity perpetuate itself.

I don't think they're formed from thoughts. I've seen them since I was young and only recently learn what they were. Actually since I learned what they were I haven't seen or heard from them. I wonder why...I kinda miss them 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

They've been around for a while. Of course, I do live in a really dark area of the US. I saw one a couple years ago one night, and it wasn't from the corner of my eye. It was hunched over, and as soon as it left my direct field of vision, it was gone. Creepy as all Hell. And I had not heard of them before that incident. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I have seen these things several times. The last time was very frightening, I woke up and three of them were at the foot of my bed, the were not looking at me, just talking together about how the would do something to me, I was so scared. I dont remeber to this day what they said. But in a reletively short time some thing very terrible happened to me. I barely made it out alive. They do have a mass, They are nore than shadows, less the flesh. More like an imprint of something, not human. They had no features. They all were male. Do you find this valuable?

There not called shadow people there actually Called Lynisia Like in the Muslim religion You have an angel to Cary your bad dies That you did but in this case it's open meaning they have like a claw that if you didn't notice that they have from the back of there head it is used to add more deed's to your list in the bad way but if they have seen by a human they well burn to the ground that is why the need to hide these evidence was given by the 15th century diary that said my family have been murdered by a female looked creature that run's in our home but that name was changed to lynisia because the female that was seen dropped a note with the name so they called it that but myth's say you can protect your self from them by drawing a circle of salt and light one candle in the dark fro at least 5 min and if the candle light was gone and you started hearing a voice saying Lidea lidea Means that your are gona be tracked by them that was until the 18th century but the true nature of them is still UN known they are not named in the three book's so it's still a mystery that they still live ,but if you do have any more question's feel free to contact me at darkcaster1@hotmail.com . Based on my experience, I do not believe that they are thought forms or that they are creatures who simply "check" on us.

When I was four years old, my family and I moved into a house located in northern New York. We stayed there for roughly ten years. When I was six years old, I began to recognize the existence of two spirits (for lack of a better term) in my home. One was (or at least looked like) a little boy. The other was a shadow figure of the deepest black, who I referred to as the "Shadow Man." The little boy never seemed to be malevolent, but he was a pest. For example, he constantly pulled and poked at my hair, clothing, and bedsheets while I was trying to sleep. The few times I actually saw him, he was always running about, almost like he was playing tag with himself.
The Shadow Man, however, was evil. Each time I saw him, I became more and more sure that he wanted to hurt me. Though it sounds crazy, I could sense it.
The first time I saw him, I had woken up in some early hour of the morning. I could tell through the crack in my window shade that it wasn't time to wake up for school yet. As I turned my head towards the right, away from the windows, I could see the figure of a man cast onto the wall-- right where my nightlight shone. I stared at him, shocked. He didn't move. Terrified, I pulled the covers over my head and tried to go to sleep. Every time I saw him, he was in the middle of some sort of light pool. Sometimes it was the nightlight, other times it was the light seeping in from a not-completely-covered window, and sometimes from the light from an open door when the corridor light was on. He was like some horrible sentinel.
I wish there were room to write more.

Shadow people are these beings that feed off of people's life force. (The sick or elderly...) I can't say if they are demons but I can tell you that they are PURE EVIL. They want to corrupt or seriously injure. They can be strong enough to kill. Do you find this valuable?

No evil is pure. There something good in everything and something bad in everything.Nothing is pure.
