Yeah, dude, it's up to the writer to decide what a vampire is - its characteristics, its abilities, its appearance . . . It's kinda arbitrary. Or no. It depends on what would make the plot of whatever story they're currently in work better; if it's a book about vampire hunters, Twilight vampires would NOT work out, since they're freaking bulletproof and faster than what-have-you. 1  out of 1 found this valuable.
