Has anyone actually ever seen a mermaid. Please be honest.

My theory is if a mermaid is by any chance still alive or real for that matter; they might be living at the bottom of the ocean somewhere considering I've never seen one(and there are still many creatures of the sea not discovered yet because our technology isn't that advanced for such a subject. I have a strong feeling that they couldn't possibly be nice creatures and they can't be that apealing to the eye if this theory is correct. My second theory would be that they could be living in the bermuda triangle considering all of the events that have happened there, I know if I were a mermaid that would be my first choice.

I promise this is a true story. we own a summer home in Bar Harbor Maine. We go there every summer. One day I was in the Backyard watching my dog, we have to watch the dog to make sure she doesn't go off the little cliff in the bay. well my dog started going toward the cliff so I started walking over there. when I was over there I looked in the bay I saw a something. It startled me because to get to the water in the bay you have to go past my backyard. I was out there for an hour before I walked over there and I did not see anyone pass my house. When I got closer to the water I saw it was a younger looking girl (looked about 12) wondering what she was doing in my bay are I shouted out "Hey" she turned and looked STRAIGHT AT ME! She looked terrified like shes never seen anyone before. About 10 seconds after that she stared swimming. then all of the sudden she started going underwater and I PROMISE ON EVERYTHING I HAVE I SAW A FIN ATTACHED TO THE GIRL! That's when I started researching mythical creatures and in my opinion this is no myth. some people call me crazy and a liar when I tell them ny story, but I promise its true

I saw something, when I was a kid (about 13). I'm not exactly sure what it was, but I assumed it was a merperson. I noticed something moving around, kicking up sand, but it went under the dock I was standing on. I heard a loud splash on the other side of the dock, turned around in time to see a weird, dolphin-like tail but longer than a dolphin and darker, almost brown in color. Not sure if it was, but as a child, I thought it was a merperson.
Do you find this valuable?

Have I ever seen a Mermaid?I dated a girl on the swim team back in High School. ...Does that count? (kidding) No, can't say I have ever seen one. But I have a friend who lives down near the ocean. She said that she might have seen one, but she wasn't sure. (She has 20/20 vision, btw) Do you find this valuable? |
