Since theirs so much discussion going on in other places.. What do yall think about government groups being able to look at all your privet files you upload onto the internet. For if they say its probable cause or say they suspect you or terrorism or threat to national security they can look at your stuff. Do you think they should be allowed to look at your things without you knowing just to look through your stuff to spy on you. On this site theirs lots of people saying their this and that. Dont you think this site could be monitored? And if you do what do you do? Do you find this valuable?

What's the watergate tapes? And do you think that's why they're trying to push bing in to replace google? Either way their stalking habits are annoying because now thanks to that stupid thing they passed it's like witch trials all over again: if they believe you're a terrorist, your screwed :P Do you find this valuable?

Only thing I will say, the day a governmental agency knocks at my doors with threats and orders is the day this world ends. Do you find this valuable?

Not everybody agrees with the government's actions -.- lol i mean the only reason they're still in charge is because when somebody stands up whether it be a peaceful approach like gandhi jesus or MLKJ, they're killed and when it's done violently like malcolm x they're seen as a bad guy and then killed which instills fear in the public, so unless the next public speaker learns to protect themselves from assassinations we have to knock 'em down slowly by planning, deconstructing and rebuilding x] Do you find this valuable?

If I may put my two cents in, I really don't see it as such a horrible thing. Don't get me wrong, it is a violation of our policy but if you have nothing to hide then you shouldn't worry. Yes, the government tends to stick with racial stereotypes but if you really aren't after doing things like that, then you really have no reason to be paranoid. I pity the agents that track my history. I go off onto the internet to search a band's history and hours later I find myself searching what makes people midgets. The power of links, my friends. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

but if they find out you have been trying to look into the things they try to hide from the public and they discover you have been getting dangerously close to their secrets etc the next thing you know your being watched and stalked outside your house or your computer crashes lol, and now they basically gave themselves legal permission to stalk what you look up or what you hide in your emails under the guise of terrorism :/ Do you find this valuable?

Very true, I do agree. I never said I was all for it. I'm just trying to see it from a different perspective.

yeah i get what you mean i think that way also 'if you have nothing to hide don't worry' but if you have things to hide like learning whats in area 51 or 52 or wherever they have the aliens now they can accuse you of being a terrorist and get you executed without having to give you a trial(i think thats what that law passed lets them do now too tired to look it up lol) Do you find this valuable?

Honestly, I don't need to hide what I'm learning about things like that since I know my limitations to researching. I know what's okay and what's not. Nonetheless, what you're saying is technically something to hide so of course you'd be paranoid and worried.

Well i personally don't hide what i do but i'm speaking from the perspective of the public who don't want senseless death but also want to learn the truth since there are alot of people like that. i don't believe one should accept being told whats not ok to learn about if it would do more good than harm in the long run or accept a lie being told as the truth but that's just me lol.

The government already did that without permission. In fact, the government already forced Verison Wireless to hand over any call or text recieved ever. That's why they were looking for that one dude, because he leaked information to the media and the government didn't want that getting out to the public.

So I wouldn't be suprised if they do that even without probable cause.

But the government wouldn't be stalking you or anything like that for the research you have done. Mostly because they probably already know about all of of the websites that have information about the certain topic you were researching.

To be realistic, the government would probably make the creator of the website take it down if it was anywhere close to being right.

Actually by doing that they'd basically be admitting those websites had true information and it bothered them that the public had access lol. would it not be more effective to let the public become curious why the sites are still up and ultimately doubt the information on the websites? I heard they usually take down the sites that have certain classified information in 'em but idk

You all have excellent points but what about this extra point. The sites about mythical creatures or what people think. Or have been told to believe. You see if the government is already doing this. Controlling what the news groups on TV are sharing among a lot of other things. What do you think on the people that are werewolves, vampires and who knows what else? And sorry I didnt log in this it Tolonkolo. :p Do you find this valuable?

that was one thing. the other is what the government might do. you see them manipulating so much. and were invisible to people for their not knowing. wouldn't the gov eventually try to pull the strings of others as well eventually. Hunt people down. Capture and experiment on. Theirs a lot of that kind of crap going on already.
