“One Life, One Blade” One by one, they are picked off, Darkness blinds them as fear binds them Standing in the long line a little girl cries With each swipe of the blade a silent thud is heard The little girl is next, she turns ash white A light reflects off the blade, she holds her breath She feels it ripping through her body Her hands turn cold, her eyes grow dull Her last breath escapes, Her body falls, and is drug to a pile Later is burned, to remove any trace That this little girl had once lived. "Ashes turn, graves roll, a criminal pays the toll, The executioner's dull blade is what made a curdling echo to cause the ghost's rejoice..... and so her voice was heard without ever being understood, Her life of incomplete was finally put to rest by her killer's defeat, Finally the ghost could make her way to her other-worldly post.... and let it be known, that this world may have its host of issues, but there will always be those to renew the cycle of evil and good. I bid thee farewell, may your lively hood provide and your end be short and sweet. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

The Storms SongSoft voices chant in the night, Their eerie song is heard with fright. When they sing, the trees wavier, Fields of grass and flowers are dancing with favor. Little ones shake and shiver, As the trees quake and quiver. Yellow and orange leaves together dance, The sound of a falling branch disrupts their trance. The interruption from lights destruction, Is followed by a laughing eruption. Petrified, they try to hide, Still the haunting voices are where they abide. This is the song of the wild, Here to bring fear to every child. By, Roan 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

EqualityPeople are like fire and ice, where one lives the other dies Unless they join forces together, with one there is strength, But with two the power is far greater then one man will see in his life time. Fire will bring wrath and warmth. Ice cools stuff down, and sets a chilly tone. If fire gets to hot ice will cool it off. If ice gets to cold, fire will warm it up Do you find this valuable? |

I stand amoung you, you say I have a home. You call me friend and say you'll never roam. But the newness wears away, and comes a change in tone. And then as always...., I will stand alone. Good bye. Do you find this valuable? |

Not a Hero I went over the edge, I lost my faith I have made a bad choice, My choice of no light Darkness has overcome me, Now I await death I gave in- I was at my weakest point, Now I am darkness, though not evil as I thought I would be The choice I made has destroyed me and no one but me can be blamed. I will be known as the rebel, for I will fight There is still one chance for me I was blinded, and lost my sight How could I not see? But I have regained it, though it bites This one chance may kill me There is no one who will for me fight Not anymore, Ive pushed them from me The choices I made has destroyed me and no one but me can be blamed. I feel too weak to fight, but maybe thats what darkness feels like It shows the monster in me- so stay away I must overcome the dark- I must be the rebel This is the path I was to take... Now everthing is so clear, when before I was blinded I must change, I will fight I know what I am, what I have always been. You want the secret? too bad its my secret. I am the monster but I am also the hero. I will be known as the rebel, for I will change There is this one chance for me I was blinded, and was caged why couldn't I see? But I am now stronger and better, though it bites This one chance is the key There is no one else who can help me change Not anymore, Ive pushed them from me The monster is satisfied, the hero is in pain. They both live inside of me, and I will use both I have a new purpose now in my life and that is to change That is to fight for balance for within me and within this world and universe. I have choosen light, I tried to be nuetral, I then chose darkness. I can see through the light, I can see through the dark, Now I just need to change again. Do you find this valuable? |

(continued)I will be known as the rebel, for I will fight There is still one chance for me I was blinded, and lost my sight How could I not see? But I have regained it, though it bites This one chance may kill me There is no one who will for me fight Not anymore, Ive pushed them from me I refuse to hate the sun, but darkness doesnt frighten me anymore I refuse to hate water, but fire feels so good I love the earth, I love the night Winter is not so bad, I refuse to hate summer I refuse darkness, I refuse light, for I love both So I need to change, even if it means the death of me. This is my path; it may be my final path But I finally feel the smile of a challenge on my face. I will be known as the rebel, for I will change There is this one chance for me I was blinded, and was caged why couldn't I see? But I am now stronger and better, though it bites This one chance is the key There is no one else who can help me change Not anymore, Ive pushed them from me Im not a hero, Im not a monster, Im both Do you find this valuable? |

Night of the Banshee.------------------------------------------------------------------- ‘Twas only past midnight when we heard that wretched yell Her cries rung throughout the town like an old broken bell She was signaling the departure of our dear friend Echoing the moment, with her song to no end The creature stood before us, with a face that looked stirred She floated just above the ground, where the grass had died below her She was draped in tethered garments, with hair a knotted mess And had bloodstains at her hands and heels, and a locket at her breast With eyes as dark and red as a rose bud or blood And skin as pale and blue, like she had died in a flood Her song was as sorrowful, as it was queer and loud For three good hours did she sing it clear and proud Until my friend who lied there on his dying bed Was spirited away by a light, and not a word more was said We looked out behind us as the Fae One fell silent She turned on her heels, and walked away from the islands But on this day and onwards, by my very life I shall swear That I’ll never forget the look on her face And the tears in her stare. --------------------------------------------------------------- Just something I wrote a little while ago. Tell me what you think. Also, I LOVE poetry! :3 Do you find this valuable? |

My Angel.------------------------------------------------ Oh, night shrouded angel Cloaked in garb of black With bones so fair and gaunt And wings that glow dark atop your back You are the Shepard with the bladed crook Herding your sheep with its fine hook And guiding them beyond the veil To their resting place Be it heaven or hell Oh, hallowed skeleton with eyes so stark You who embrace us in the light And hold our hands in the dark With a smile that bides and shines through the lies You are he who holds the strings that binds us to our ties Oh, lovely Reaper So still and pale With hands so cold And body so frail You are the elder that turns the wheel of time And holds the caduceus, forever entwined You are my angel sent to me That fills me with vigor, joy, and glee Holding my hand and standing by Readying my soul For its final goodbye. -------------------------------------------- One of my favorites written by yours truly. :3 Do you find this valuable? |

hauntedpeace, love and life are the gifts I do not bring, for what I brought is a sharp and sliver blade, along with a frightful night full of pain, sit next to me, and you will no longer be sane, for your soul is mine, it is the thread that is weaved into my cloak, you can run, but I will never be far behind you, I am your shadow, I am in every darkness, I am inside you.
