One thing I know, and its not for show,
Is that one is loved, and part of the family,
With out this one, some would be none,
With this one, rainy days became sunny,
Stormy nights became calm days,
This one will never be forgotten,
He is a friend, a brother,
Some may not like him,
But that doesn’t matter,
The ones who do,
Just wanna hug him,
To be right beside him,
But that’s not enough,
Some reject him,
Poke and laugh at him,
I don’t know why,
But its not fair,
To make someone sad,
To treat them as if their not there,
This is my friend,
And forever that is what he will be,
I don’t care what some say,
They can think I am crazy,
When really it is they that are crazy,
They miss out on a good friend,
The best of all,
It is they that are gunna fall,
He is kind, and loving,
He doesn’t judge,
He holds no grudge,
But now he is in pain,
Because of what other have done,
He has done nothing wrong,
He just wanted to help,

"A Man Called Despair:

He stands in the streets between moving lights
Yet no one pays him any mind, as he stares at the twilight
With hands in tethers, and feet bound
And a chain and ball tied to him, which binds him to the ground
He looks up at the heavens, the sky, and the stars
And makes a silent wish, one that he hopes reaches through the iron bars
He whispers it every day, and every night he prays
That he will be freed from his prison some day
Yet the words won’t come out
Nor will his screams, cries or shouts
For his mouth was stitched shut, long ago
This tragic tale of a man that you’ll soon come to know

The braving hour finally came
And so the man was released from his pain
Yet even in death, still bound by ball and chain
He still walks between the moving lights
Yet with a new glow, that outshines the night
He joins the others that came before
They’ve walked in his shoes, and fought the same war
And so as one, they walk together forevermore

To the spot on the cliff, where the dirt is high
Is where he stood every day and night
And now he lies

So lay a rose on this forgotten grave
And with it a cross too heavy to bear
For nothing could be done to save
A Man Called Despair.
