Problem

The rest of the info about the Cliuricaun is pretty accurate, but.... The pic is misleading.
The picture depicts a Pixie (more or les) Not a Cluricaun.
Just sayin'......

Oh, Easy enough, don't need to link it. Just click on the "Keyword-tags" word "Cluricaun in my 1st post above.

It's a picture of a female "pixie" in a brandy snifter. O.O

A Cluricaun is actually a Leprecaun. (although there's some debate about that.... for some reason....) The legend is, that it is a 'Leprecaun " by day, but after his work for the day is done, It's party time, and he becomes a Cluricaun. In that form he gets good and toasted (drunk) and goes on wild rides on the back of ponies or sheep.
They like to stay in wine cellers in other legends.
But they aren't really the "spirit of wine". like it says in the list. Both Leprecauns and Cluricauns are Irish Goblins, (yes, goblins) and there's a lot more to them than just having crocks of gold and hanging out at the ends of rainbows.
(....I mean if you had a big pot of gold would YOU bother to waste your time hanging around the end of a rainbow, 24-7...?)

Wow!
I'm gonna get run outta this website for being a trouble maker....... but......
I also clicked on the "KOBOLD" In the "Related Content" at the bottom of this page. They got .....NOTHING but one thing right about Kobolds. Kobolds are goblins, too (and trust me I know my Goblins) But the picture is of 2 female Fairy-arche-types
That are nothing even CLOSE to Kobolds.
Kobolds are Mine dwelling Goblins. Related to Brownies (and yes once again Brownies are goblins) (There are over 900 spiecies of goblins) Kobolds are squat (usually ugly) little guys. Not Fairy twins. (Nor are they little Rat-looking guys, as I've seen them presented on other websites)

I also looked at the Nisse and the Hob. included in the "RELATED CONTENT" below.
Kill me after you hear me out.

Both the picture and discription of the Nisse are incorrect.
The picture is (yet again) that of a beautiful fairy-type girl. And the info says that Nisse were harbringers of bad times aggriculturaly.

While that is partialy accurate, a Nisse is..... yet again, a spiecies of Goblin. (although there's some debate about that) It's basicaly another representation of the BROWNIE. (again some debate about that) In fact Brownies, Kobolds, Nisse Hobs (Hobgoblins) are all (debatably) the same creature, just that in different countries the legends vary. (in this case Scandinavia (where Trolls also hearld from) And in reality, Nisse are helpful to humans (and others) just as their other countries counterparts) )
The Hob, I clicked on has a picture of yet another "pretty-girl-fairy type" And NO info what so ever. The Hob is just a short term for HOBGOBLIN.
Hobgoblins are essentialy the same as Brownies. Brownies are from Scots-Irish tradition and Hobgoblins are just English Brownies.

THE ARTWORK
Just to clarify... I'm not critisizing the art or artwork on those pages. The artwork is actually beautiful and well done. And while not completely "accurate" in their depictions of Fae, I do like them.
(Anyone know who the artist or artist are?)
My "problem" (if it can even be called that) is that the pictures while quite beautiful just do not accurately represent the type of Fae they are supposed to depict.
....just sayin'.....

All these creatures are different looking. They aren't identical. Yes there is debate about the leprechaun thing so how was that the wrong image. You sound very passionate about your posts but it's a wiki made for reediting to perfection and you are definitely not the all knowing source of endless Fae knowledge. Like for example, the cultural view you are taking on all these stories is way different than the views I was using.Mine is mostly Irish, and Norwegian tales. Do you find this valuable?

Hmm (insert answering machine voice) We're sorry your requested resignation has been denied. All current writers are remaining at their stations. Have a pleasant day.(end of answering machine voice) Reasoning. Grim your points are accurate and true. Just as much as hers are on her side. It's covering both bases. Why not find a way to put two and two together.?
