I have never identified myself with Otherkin. I have known for a very long time that I was not human before. I am an old species that has been labeled as Demons by humans. We are not demons though. I acknowledge my existence as a human now, but I clearly show signs of my existence as something else. There are others like me out there, who are truly different and they just "Know" it. Then there are the ones who identify as creatures that they like and assume they are just that. Some are real, and some are misguided, that is just how it works. Those who don't believe are probably true humans. There is nothing wrong with that. I will not allow myself to be taken in by sceptics though. I have knowledge of things that I wish I did not, but that changes nothing. The fact that there are thriving communities of people who do believe won't change either. People need to accept that the world may not be as black and white as they thought. We're the shades of grey and you can't get rid of us. ~Anonymous Selenite
