Well the slenderman entity is real. It was started from the something awful forum. Thanks to the tupila effect and help from another stronger entity. The slenderman myth became an entity, a demonic entity. Very few sightings of him is actually the real entity. The clones are usually other lesser demonics taking over the image to seem stronger. The only thing that can kill a slenderman clone is radium (platinum) The demonic is usually after people who are weak, but have abilities. He does not like anyone standing in his way, and does attack does that do. The slenderman may have been around for thousands of years, maybe even before earth was even made. That is only a theory. To look up information or to talk about him seems to only summon him. or that he feels threaten. All the deamon that use his image seem to be all male, no females. He is more tree like in his nature and uses that to blend into secluded areas like the woods. he doesn't seem to go where no ones heard of him, and doesn't like the cold or evergreens.
he can be defeated by magic, if one knows what they are doing. But I don't recommend it. This entity has been defeated, and is no longer a threat to humanity, but demons still use its image. If you do see a slenderman IGNORE IT! pretend it isn't there. If you act like you don't believe it it will diminish its power. It is a form of protection commonly used by the Catholic religion.

A very similar creature was made from genetic mutation. They were trying to make a normal human have the ability to remotely extend arms and legs by sending messages from the brain. In order to do that, you'll need a certain amount of stretchable skin, muscle, tissue, bone, and cartilage. In the process of experimenting, they had try to store the skin in certain places (unknown areas of the human body) and wound up creating an excessive layer of the 'lab rat's' face. This caused the image of faceless to occur. Since they had already fabricated longer arms and legs, the patient had died far too quickly to test out the extending and retracting phase. As much effort as they put in this, the scientists were trying to see if they can bring this 'human' back to life artificially. When they had, they realized the monster they had created and couldn't exterminate the procedure before the 'monster' escaped human grasp. Man generally appears (in modern times) as a tall man in a black or grey suit, red or black tie, and white shirt, with no eyes, mouth, or clearly defined facial features. It has no hair, and generally has normal-looking bare hands. Slenderman typically is depicted in imagery and literature as between 6 and 15 feet tall, depending on the situation, and in video as around 6-7 feet tall. Because of its inexact nature, and differences between series, no one has yet determined what it is. Currently, the two leading theories as to what the Slenderman may be are the Tulpa Effect and Quantum Theory. The internet popularity of Slenderman has spawned a massive amount of interconnected ARG's, collectively known as the Slenderman Mythos.
ABILITY'S
Slenderman's original abilities included invisibility to select people, adult humans, or anyone without use of a camera, the ability to change height and body shape, the ability to shape its arms into tentacles, and the ability to sprout tentacle-like appendages from its back and shoulders to be used as additional arms or legs (or simply to instill fear into its prey). Many stories seem to indicate that it can control a person's mind, which became the basis for the Proxies in the video ARGs, a trend that would later spread to Slenderblogs. Slender Man also had connections to children, with many of the original stories revolving around disappearing children or featured Slender Man being sighted in photos with children. the Slenderman's Impressive height.

After a spree of building burnings from unknown causes, several deaths and a few surviving witnesses, it could be gathered that the Slenderman had the following traits:
* Slenderman will find interest in a victim for reasons unknown
* It would then contact the victim, if it is a child, presenting itself as friendly
* The adults he stalks have a common trait: they have all been through a terrible tragedy in their life, even if the tragedy was made by Slenderman directly
* If an adult, it would stalk the victim for long amounts of time causing what is known as "Slender sickness" causing massive paranoia, nose bleeds, nightmares, hallucinations appearing to only the sick person, and many other dangerous symptoms.

In the late 1990s, technology shed more light on the creature through the use of commonplace cameras and camcorders. Slenderman was recorded and photographed stalking potential victims many times.

Slenderman has links to many Proxies, or insane individuals under its control or influence. The nature of Proxies, their workings, etc, are et unknown, however Proxies make appearances in MH as Masky/totheark, EMH as HABIT, and DH as an unknown Proxy.
The Rake is the name given to another mystery creature that is somehow linked or associated with Slenderman. The Rake has a far shorter history, and only real appearance of association with Slenderman or a Proxy is through the video accounts of EMH.
In germany he was known as a different name (der grobman) and his appearance was also different he wore a suit of armor and resenmbled a skeleton and had a face he has also been known in ancient egypt and africa and many other places across the world. In germany he was known as a dark fairy that lives in the woods but some people say he’s a ghost, undead, demon, or other… But his purpose (at least in germany) was to kidnap children that where out after dark or told lies. The way’s to deal with him or (get rid of him, *at least the ones that I have heard of* are), to leave and move far away from were you use to live, pray, try to cleanse you house, exorcism but not recommended you could try to astroprojection but I’m not sure about that either.you could try to kill him but I’m not exactly sure how you could also try not being scared of him and just ignore it and hope he goes away. And for all of you who say that the slenderman is fake that might the case and might not you never know. Look it up in history and not modern day hype.
