Western Astrology, just like Chinese Astrology, is an ancient art that uses the time of a persons birth (year, month, day, time) to determine the person's personality traits, lifestyle, health, careers, and compatibility with others. The creation of this form of astronomy was inspired by Ptolemy's Tetrabiblos, which dates back to the 2nd century AD,as well as by the ancient Greek Astronomers of about 2000 years ago. Western Astrology focuses on the relationship between the Sun and the Earth as a form of time measurement, and follows the four main themes of the seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
