black cat
Jan 20 2011, 3:08 AM EST
growing up in the highlands, i noticed all the wee towns and villages had talk of a big black cat every now and again. stories ranged from it being a panther escaped from a zoo or circus to a more mystical background. thing is, one usually gets spotted all over britain, sometimes even turns up in the news, its exact species cant be determined and i've never heard of a black cat getting caught, its just out there. i've heard similar stories from europe and america too. have you heard of a story like this? and more importantly, have you ever heard of one getting caught?

We get quite a few stories down south about big black cats. A lot have apparently been seen around Bluewater Shopping complex in Greenhithe, but I've never seen one. There is a huge park near to where I live where apparently people set panthers free after they got too big for their owners to feed. I don't know how true this is. I've never heard of one getting caught, even with extensive news coverage... Although there have been quite a few witnesses who claim it is the same thing, and people are referring to them as panthers. However, it seems to have died down a lot now. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Well out of RA Salvatore books on Drizzit the drow, Drizzit always had a black panther with him. Maybe the panther is connected somehow to the unknown.
