Define what you would call ''fun'' because it can vary between intellect and other things. Now as for claiming to be a mythical creature are words I njever uttered however not every soul in a human body...is human.

That is a belief i respect, and follow, but im still quite sceptical over the things people say on the interwebs, would you care to elaborate on your "Kitsune-ness"?

it would have to depends on what one would wish to know because as spoken by many not everything is always true but some kitsune I can tell you have sworn oaths and must abide by them as which I do every day. I can say you are right thougb not everything can be beleived and so there are ways of telling when one is lying by asking certain questions and i know 25 questions to ask yet it can vary between kitsune if another has done the same method of attaining a human body.

What exactly are these "Oaths"?Are you a part of some "Kitsune" community than? And what exactly is the "Method" you've used for "attaining" a human body? I hope you can answer these. Do you find this valuable? |

one oath Is : May not harm a commoner or allow the woodland to be defiled or destroyed without cause.another is : May not directly be involved in a battle without being invited. May not enter a house without being invited. May not offer aid unless asked. I shall not state any other oaths. As for the method used it's simpler than wasting energy to try and create a body that wouldn't suffice in this world most likely for very long. It's taking the body of an unborn or deceased child or person but preferably a child so as to live the life of a human however....memories can be lost through this method and as we all know memories are hard to get back and so thy life is lived as a human not knowing of the true past. hopefully that was a little helpfull to you logic chair. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. killed? you have it all wrong. the child is normally unborn not to mention if the humans soul dies we take that body as our own and usually live that bodies life therefore in a way we are actually doing some good in the world.....unless you look at the nogitsune. remember one of the oaths mentioned before....not allowed to harma commoner and even an unborn child is considered a commoner since it has a soul.

here's something to chew on :A kitsune possessing someone has to overcome their will. Usually, the process appeares similiar to insanity, while the kitsune fed off the person's willpower. Taking a sleeping person, however, usually was a lot quicker, since the kitsune could invade the dreams, and take its time to sap the will of the target. Possession is not a shared thing. Once done, the kitsune controls the body, and once they have left, their host will not remember the experience. Kitsune possession was usually not long-term, unless the kitsune truly had a reason to stick around. Possession was usually broken by a blessing or exorcism done by someone of the Shinto or Buddhist faiths (however any priest strong enough can rid a kitsune spirit), or if someone called in a Guardian kitsune to deal with the matter. Also note that unless the kitsune is very powerful, shape-shifting was limited to foxform, fox-person form, and the form of the person they're possessing. The third option was to possess a child or a fox, either very young, or unborn. This method was the least taxing on the kitsune, and resulted in a hybrid of the kitsune and the person/fox possessed. If possessing a child/fox, the full possession takes longer, but if pre-born, it's instant. -> For simplicity's sake, we shall call this the 'avatar' method. This is easily the least taxing of the methods for a kitsune to show up. This also, incidentally, gives a kitsune a long-term physical body. The kitsune who uses this method has no extra tails visible, and has to eat, drink, sleep, breath, and suffer the full range of mortal life, all 900 years of it. They also bleed, and can possibly get sick. A kitsune using this method can transform into a fox-form/human-form, and with development, possibly other forms as well. As an additional note, a kitsune who has an avatar can not be simply banished or exorcized. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

-> One common thing, however, is that a kitsune, once here, can become enraputed with the full range of sensations that they experience in their physical form. This tends to turn kitsune into hedonists, willing to experience new forms of pleasure and pain. Older kitsune, who have lived in the physical world for a long time, may become more jaded, however.1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

( just kidding). He's a highly intellegent person. However i think you can add to that location or make your own. Ask logic chair he knows how you can do it. He's the man to go to... after all he was left in charge. :) Do you find this valuable? |

While i was left in charge to keep the site from smoldering untill our holy Kaiser Dous returns from his crusade against the heretics, im afraid any credit for the well being of the site goes to Mythical_Geek, who i believe is some sort of alien super computer that somehow got implanted into the site

I agree logic chair considering alot of the info that mythical_geek submitted....maybe he could be an alien computer but hell who cares as long as it don't turn on us. There is one thing I have noticed in alot of kitsune lore though. (got bored and decided to search on what they have written bout my kind) most of the lore is telling of trickery and stupid stunts kitsune have pulled and very few tell of good deeds we have done...why I have no clue but I have noticed that most creatures are always being judged by the past and never the present....then again try finding them.

Thats because "Humans" are narrowed minded. And They want nothing to do with it or us. We are as stubborn today as yesterday. And thats nothing to brag about. The creatures are still here but not in human view.
