Kitsune sighting..

Is it a good or bad omen if you see a white fox on the sidewalk standing between you and your house? I live in a small-ish town so it is rare for an animal like this to be seen at all, besides a stray dog maybe, and I KNOW it wasn't a dog. It was large. And I have never seen a WHITE white dog like this before. I didn't see any tails, it was sitting down and was partially shadowed beneath an old pine tree; this happened about the middle of November last year during the night right as I was going to go for a walk around the block. I saw it, and I froze and stared at it. I was terrified. I had no idea what it was. I looked at the street light, and I looked back at it, and it was gone. I went right back into my house after this. Do any of you think it could have been a kitsune? It must've been.. 56 out of 73 found this valuable. Do you?

If it WAS a kitsune, and it was white, you'll probably be fine. As kitsunes are white, gold, or similar colors, and they rarely cause too much harm. Nogitsunes, on the other hand, have much more color variation and may cause some issues.
