Mythical Creatures for novel suggestions! :)
Mar 31 2012, 12:15 AM EDT
For my school research project I’m going to be writing a novel filled with mythological creatures. I’m wondering what mythical creatures that are almighty and powerful bad guys that might represent Sun, Wind, Earth and Fear. Any answers would be of valuable assistance. Thank you!(Also I don't need to stick to those particular topics - in fact I'm thinking of changing one to Death) Any suggestions for mythical creatures would be wonderful! Thank you! :) Do you find this valuable? |

Harpies are an excellent choice for Wind as they are quite evil in mythological nature. Tengu I heard were like bird-men.I think they could burst people into flames if they were angeredSun might be kinda difficult to do though though you might want to think of the Sun God in ejyption mythology. Earth could be Chimera or Grendal or Questing Beast. There’s a lot of options out there fore that one. Fear ha a lot of options too! Cause things like vampires and werewolves are part of the fear thing though you might want to avoid using them unless you want to sound like a twi-fan. A wendigo on the other hand might just be what you’re looking for. It was saidthey can’t be killed unless you melt their heart of ice! Hope this helps ^___^ 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

omg this sounds like an awesome project. we had to do it too but I did mine on the physics of a netball game. geek-out! XD anywayz, you might want to consider that a lot of the mentioned beasts are quite low level and not that frightening.. or powerful. dragons are an excellent choice for wind but as mythical creatures they were originally guardians not bad guys.. also they be cute too. XD banshees and chupacabras though.. boring. :S soz. but you’re after exciting? why not the apocalyptic beasts like that one with five lion heads. even better though would be something like the four horsemen or the apocalpse! even maybe just usuing them instead of finding a bunch of other characters? though you probs need a lot for a book of mythological creatures and stuff. as far as the FEAR thing goes.. you should TOTALLY do Death himself! ..or itself :/ w/e XD just ideas. chill out though. don’t stress! :D Do you find this valuable? |

For fear I think Banshees would be great, they have place in mythology around the world and they represent death(truthfully they only warn a person about an impending death, or they mourn for that person but I think they would be perfect for Fear)
