So, I kinda need help. Is anyone knowledgeable on mythological creatures of the Southeastern United States? basically the areas below the Mason Dixon line from Maryland to florida, georgia, texas, tennessee, particularly florida, albama, missouri, south and north caroline, virginia, kentucky, mississippi, lousiana and so on. Im trying to see if someone can give me and idea of what creatures of folklore, or mythology, or cryptozoology lived in those areas. ranging from colonial time, to spanish occupation of florida, or things that came about during the civil war, along with folklore that lives on to this day and age....lesser known creatures to well known creatures....folklore of the Indian tribes in these areas works to. i know it is a lot but, it would be really helpful. Do you find this valuable?
