I remember in book two of the Percy Jackson series (The Sea Of Monsters), I believe, Bessie the hippocampus. He named it Bessie because he described it as half-cow rather than half-horse... (Bessie turned out to be a male... jus' sayin'!) 0  out of 7 found this valuable. Do you?
