The Ancient Egyptian god Geb is seen as either a man with a goose on his head, or the man lying down under the arch of the sky goddess Nut. Geb was the patron god of the Earth and Egyptians used to believe that earthquakes were caused when he laughed.
*Geb was the husband and brother of the sky goddess Nut. He was also the father of Osiris, Isis, Nepthys and Seth. When Seth(Set) and Horus fought for the throne of Egypt, Geb made Horus the ruler of the living.*
