The Ancient Egyptian god Horus is said to be born of Osiris and Isis. In some ancient translations his name literally means "Horus, the son of Isis." He is usually represented as a man with a hawk/falcon head.
He is the patron god of the sky. Horus was known as the protector of the ruler of Egypt, and some believed the pharaoh to be Horus reincarnate.
