Ring around the rosie is a little song that kids dance and sing to. But does the song have a dark side?
In Europe the black plague killed many people. It started out with a red rash shaped as a ring. Many people thought it was because of their bad smell so they stuffed their pockets with sweet smelling herbs. Those who died was burned or cremated. That is how they came up with RING AROUND THE ROSIE POCKETS FULL OF POSIES ASHES ASHES WE ALL FALL DOWN. They soon realized it wasn't from the way smelled but from all the rats

It wasn't the rat that caused the black death but the nasty little passenger, the flea that bit the rat, the dog, the cat and the human that caused the black death that could have wiped out mankind from the earth if the culprit had not finally been found besides the fact that the time period did not know about sanitation, the human body, or proper medical care. The dead were walled up, left in piles in the streets, in alleyways etc until the wagons came to burn the bodies.
