The Aqui Dragon
An Aqui dragon is - as its name refers - an aquatic dragon that lives in the Arctic seas, swims in the depths of the west coast, hunts in the east coast of Africa and Madagascar, and around the shores of Indonesia, Australia, and Asia and rarely around Japan. The plural form of Aqui is Aquis (ah-quis). They have a set of gills which allow them to live in the water and Aquis are saltwater dragons. Aquis can also go on land, but they rarely do since their only food is in the water. Their scale color is based on which region they live in: White for Arctic oceans, blue for the west coast, dark red for Africa, and green for Australia, Indonesia and Asia. The white Aquis also live in Canadian waters, but the last time someone saw one it was the last thing they saw before it came up from underneath and snapped their fishing boat in half. In Japan, Aqui sightings are very rare because Aquis feed on whales, dolphins, sharks, and swordfish. The whale population in Japan is very few, so they tend to live in areas where whales are most abundant. Aquis have huge wings that aren't just made for flying, but also made for propelling through water. They rarely come in contact with humans, and humans mistake them for whales when they see one when they breach. An Aqui is rare, and they sleep at the bottom of the ocean, only coming up to feed on their favorite foods.
