My opninionI'd like to just say that all myths and legends have come from somewhere which means people at some point in time have seen these myths and legends so there's actually fact in all of them.
and this is rather logical, makes more sense if you were going to curse someone it'd be like this, and she could still turn people to stone using her eyes.
