Great Book Choices
I agree, The Revenge of the Shadow King is a good fictional book. Same with The Immortal Instruments. Some of these I've never read yet...but thanks, I think I know which books to read next. But I kinda think Eragon should be placed highher, otherwise. It's all good. Read from 1 to 106. A good challenge.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT BOOK THIS IS?
I read this book some years ago. However I do not recall said book's title, nor it's author. It is a fictional story about a girl who has some trouble and is sent to live with a relative. The place she goes to has a water front, where in a fisherman's / ferryman's shop or house, where she finds this glass figurine of animals(broken figurines stuck together like a Chimera or Sphinx). Nearing the end of the book, she's in some kind of trouble, and the creature appears in real life. It had the head of a shark, torso of a tiger, eagle wings, and octopus tentacles for a tail. How this story lingers in my head, and for the life of me can't find it is tortuous.
PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anyone know anything of this book, it's title, or it's author. Any links, forums, or such is welcome with open arms. The desperation of how I need information on this book, is close to the phrase "I'm sweating worse than than a pregnant nun during morning mass"- The Nanny Named Fran NO OFFENSE TO RELIGIOUS BELIEFS, NOR CHRISTIANS etc....
If anybody has info, pls contact me at shakti.m1991@yahoo.com

Saw this on another forum and thought it'd be fun! :)
The rules: You're in front of a soda machine. You can insert ANYTHING you want and get ANYTHING back. Posts should start with 'Inserts:' and end with 'Gets:'
I'll start.
Inserts: Chocolate
Gets: Gold
[& the next person's "Insert:" should be Gold-related. Let's see how creative this can get :D]
