Actually, Harry Potter is better because he has magical powers that can kill.

I read the first two, they're kinda funny. But they're also written for a young age group. 2  out of 10 found this valuable. Do you?

I prefer Harry Potter personally. I haven't read them all but I did enjoy the ones I did read. I just think it's more creative. 0  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

mine? They are entertaining, but not wholly accurate.

Not totally. Anyway, most stuff now is just copying Lord of the Ring (awesome!!!) or Harry Potter (awesome!!!). Anyway, Percy Jackson is one of my favorites and if you insult it in front of me, watch out. I've read all five several times and they are great. I mean great. Some of the best books ever. Did I mention they are GREAT!?Oh, by the way, please capitalize Potter and Percy. :-)

No, it's not. I can honestly see no reason that Percy Jackson is a rip-off of Harry Potter. Even though they both have mythical creatures, they are nothing like eachother, therefore making it impossible for one to be a rip-off of the other. Is Harry Potter a demigod? Freaking no. Is Percy Jackson a wizard? Freaking no. Percy goes to a summer camp, and Harry goes to a whole different school that stretches over Christmas (meaning winter). So no, considering that the only thing they have in common is mythical creatures, no, Percy does not rip off Potter.

--I have no problem with Harry Potter, as it is equal to Percy Jackson in my eyes. I do have a problem with people comparing series that have nothing to do with eachother (i.e. a series about wizards and a series about Greek gods)--

What the heck does Harry Potter have to do with this? And no, murder is not at all a good reason for one to be better than the other. Besides, is Harry Potter good with a sword (deadly)? No, he's good with a little stick (which can, admittedly be deadly, but Harry won't use it for that).

Did your mother not love you as a kid or something? Because that would explain your strange fixation on murder.

Technically, the characters are very similar, but no offense, I agree mostly.
