THUNDERBIRD or very large black birdWhile ocean watching in Northern California, I came upon a HUGE bird sitting on the cliff near the parking lot, about 6:30 am. It was pulling at something it was eating. I would say the bird was bigger than my car...maybe 6ft high & 12ft. long, black shiny feathers..more like a crow than a pheonix from mythology. It flew away, and tho I came back several mornings, I never saw it again.
