Tormentil

I'm working on a youtube series about this and the deeper into production I get, the harder it is to sleep because I actually have had continuous nightmares recently. I always had night terrors, but not like this. I woke up at four this morning because I had a string of nightmares and was too afraid to go back to sleep. I haven't done that since I was a child. 18  out of 19 found this valuable. Do you?

try inducing lucid dreams to get rid of nightmares. i started by staying awake until im about to pass out and then try to keep focused instead of letting your thoughts wander as u fall asleep. for instance i would listen to the sound of a fan or some constant sound. as u fall asleep the sound starts to fade away till there is just nothing but silence and darkness. to keep the sound from keeping u up u need to put the sound in the background while still being aware of it almost like those pictures where u have to let your eyes go out of focus to see the image. then u should literally pop up in your dream world if your anything like me. the longer it takes for u to fall asleep the harder it is to keep up the concentration so like i said start off real tired and good luck changing your nightmares into dreams.

you poor souls
you shouldnt have made yourself such an easy target
just make sure that he doesnt learn your name, it will be harder for him to track you
also keep something sharp near you when you sleep, like how i sleep next to my sword
if you get in to deep close your eyes and count to three all the while thinking hard about your weapon, it should come to aid you

Meh... I drift into umaya sometimes when I sleep. I find it very useful, as I can actually modify reality in those. It's really quite convenient fighting nightmares when you can modify the work around the nightmare. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Ive been having constant nightmares since I was 3 years old, I just don't think about it.
Putting a supernatural force behind them isn't helping at all.
I'd suggest listening to some calming music before you go to sleep, works wonders.

Thanks to everyone that replied, but don't worry. I'm alright.
I will say this though, most things that happen in the series are based on things that actually do happen to me.
Example: Often waking up from a string of nightmares and it looking like there is a large, black shape standing over me.
Sweet dreams.

when i was 12 or so i met a group of kids who, like myself, had seen Iyoui in their nightmares
for some reason we all decided that it would be safer to go by fake names
i was Waterstar, my closest friends were Ren, Amilia and Megaman (he was obsessed with that game)
