i've seen him.

I had a nightmare last night and I had been searching for a lost friend. then i found the friend who turned out to be lyoui. He flung me to the ground and starting punching me, right before i forced myself awake he turned to his true form and laughed. I woke up and i had shiner on my right eye

He can only be brought into real life by trading souls with you. His soul can't come into the world. If he trades with you, you have to trade with someone. He can only be see in dreams. If you see him concentrate. It is no use to run. You can do ANYTHING in a dream. He hates happyness so turn yourself into the happiest but strongest animal you know. Laugh and think to him happy thoughts. If he runs off you will be safe for 3 days. After that he has the choice to come back. If it only angers him use the animals strength to rip his head off. Once his head is off DO NOT LOOK IN EYES. If you do it's game over for you...just run off while concentrating on a happy place. Once your there your safe! Keywords SOMETIMES work...not usually though. Before you go to sleep make sure you havn't watch/heard/remembered anything partually scary, thats how he finds you. If you have watched/heard/remembered something, make sure you are in a non weapon zone. he trades souls with you by killing your real body. He then drinks your soul before it evaporates with your body, awakining your body and giving him a new form fo 100 years. So let me see if i'm understanding this right. He can possess your body and control it, but you can fight him off in your dreams. That means that he is basically weaker than a demon or even a ghost of a person. They can at least possess someone's body without them being able to fight back in a dream. He then drinks or rather fuses with your soul instead of just casting it out. That is possible I guess, but pretty stupid since that would make it a battle of will to remain the dominant conscience and open up the chance for him to lose and you to become this powerful being with a body that will apparently last another 100 years from however old you currently are at the time. I guess that could potentially make you one powerful mofo with one wrinkly ass body. Doesn't sound nearly as scary as just watching "The Exorcist."

You know there's a disorder, I don't know the name, that cause you to do thing to yourself due to brain activity while you sleep. The demon could simply be a depicted mental excuse for the happening.
