Migration of Vampires in fiction

What do you think the thematic importance of the differences created by the migrations and differing locations of vampire fictions are????? Eg. Dracula - fear of Eastern Europe..... Twilight - pop culture... Dusk til dawn - Souhern Gothic?! 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
