Not much is known about the Abere. Some say that she is a Malaysian demoness, others say she is a hag or a fairy. There is even suggestion of being a succubus simply because of how she lures her victims. The rumors say that many see a girl or young lady possibly trapped in the reeds. They go to investigate only to become her victim. Snake like reeds twine around the victim like a spider's cocoon. Once they become totally helpless, she feeds on the human.

Sources say that she has female attendees. Is it possible that not only Abere feeds on the unwary?
