Luduan are portrayed as "seekers of the truth". Luduan have extremely long lifespans, even amongst the Fae. Although Luduan do not seem to "feed" on humans or other Fae in any way, they do seem to have an insatiable desire to know the truth. If a Luduan asks a question and it is not answered truthfully, they will do whatever they can to discover the truthful answer. Luduan have the ability to detect what is truth and what is a lie. In addition, Luduan are able to "force" humans and other Fae to tell them the truth with a mere hand gesture.
