- Discussions must be about mythical creatures, mythology, and such similar topics. Private matters are to be discussed in private messages or off the site. Any threads breaking these rules will be deleted and the poster will receive a warning, followed by a temporary ban for a second offense.
- Frankly, no whining. We love our community but we don't want to hear any of your drama. Keep it to personal chats or offsite, since breaking this rule will result in automatic banning. The duration of said ban is to an admin's discretion.
- Writers and moderators must reference their research at the end of the papers, with the exception of quizzes, games, and role-playing. Please try to not to rely on Wikipedia and properly credit your sources, because plagiarism will not be tolerated.
- Role-playing is to be kept to its designated place. Its presence anywhere else will be deleted and the poster will be warned the first time, and banned the second. Keep in mind that visibly photoshopped images used as avatars are now considered to be part of role-play and we ask for you to refrain from using such imagery as it violates user policy. Unless the photo is of you or found on the internet (though this may violate other terms so be mindful), any manipulated images used as icons are discouraged.
- Be courteous. Badmouthing, shaming, and bashing of any type is prohibited and all participating offenders will be temporarily banned for as long as the admin believes is necessary. This includes discrimination regarding species, gender, sexual orientation, heritage, and whatever else you choose to define yourself. It's the internet, you don't have to take everything so seriously and you can afford to relax a little. A wise person once said, treat others the way you want to be treated.
- False accusations of any type are not tolerated unless solid evidence is brought forth. If you'd like to discuss matters pertaining to a certain user, contact an admin.
- Any and all mention of "Slender Man" is prohibited and will result in a permanent ban. There are no exceptions to this rule, as the moderators (especially Pelagios) are fed up.
- Respect each other's beliefs regarding identity. Not everyone here claims to be human and unless you can provide solid evidence that proves otherwise or are willing to prove that you are indeed human, kindly refrain from throwing accusations.
- Admins are the primary enforcers of these rules. If you feel as though someone is breaking any of the rules above, contact a mod or admin before taking matters into your own hands. We don't bite and we care about keeping this site drama free as much as you do.
