I don't think being super fast is a vampire quality. It's part of Twilight propaganda 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

In ancient Vampire lore, the living dead do not have all of these strange modern powers, the most common power the walking dead had was shape shifting. A few other myths said the living dead were stronger than the average man, however these were few in number. What is strange is that some of the first ideas of the walking dead were not of evil corpses trying to consume the living, rather of beloved ancestors returning from their grave to spend one last time with their families, or to lend aid to the living in some form, most of the evil walking dead in Europe seemed to have appeared when Christianity arrived, strange how those two things appeared at the same time isn't it?

Before the idea of gods and goddesses, the living would worship or pay homage to the dead, members of their clan who had gone before them, asking them for aid, guidance or other various things, in the same manner people ask for the aid of a god or goddess. Even when the idea of a Vampire arose, they did not need to feed upon blood, some of the first vampiric creatures drained life straight from their victim, which is a lot more dangerous.

How can decomposing flesh be super strong? It would be having pieces falling this place and the next.

Perhaps these stories were propaganda from the Church to say that any other person that awakes from the dead shall commit blasphemy for Christ as He risenfrom the dead.

old facts also state that "zombies" might not be living dead because they're only called it the living dead because of their utterly repulsive stench making others believe they're the "undead". Do you find this valuable?

and the myth of the vampire was created in Europe because they didn't have the knowledge of people being albino, so they looked pale and had red eyes which gave them a monsterous appearance, yet some of them had teeth problems which in turn created the fangs of the so called vampire Do you find this valuable?

well jeez, have you ever heard about restraint? Just because you're online doesn't mean it isn't prudent to be nice.

Anyway, back to the actual topic. You could be fast because of several reasons.

But I think what would be a good idea is find out what your friend really thinks a vampire is- then use your good sense of judgement.

I personally haven't met a blood sucking vampire, but I do believe energy sucking vampires exist ((which I seem to attract)). I think you should do some research yourself because my best friend kept on saying I was these certain things- and she has a lot of common sense, it can just be an explanation she thinks for your unique attributes.

Oddly enough, superpowered corpses only really appeared when Europe was under the sway of Christianity. I assume it was in an effort to give them some link to Satan.

However, the Draugr in the cold north, was said to have been stronger than living men and women, and though not really a vampire. It did feast upon the flesh and blood of those it killed, not all of the time though and i also do not think it needed to.

Where on Earth did you hear that? walking corpse stories are some of the most ancient stories known to man and are found all over the globe.
Though many of the first living dead were not evil and bloodthirsty.
