okay, well Spiritual 1006 kinda asked me to make a thread for him.He wants to start up a paranormal group to hunt down demons, spirits, unuasual energy. I guess we can even talk about the wierd things happening. For example: the weather storms, diseases like H1N1 ect. Do you find this valuable? |

I think the unusual weather is Mother Earth correcting herself from all the damage we, humans, have caused her. All the tornadoes in the south when it is suppose to be here in the midwest. A tsunami scare on the west coast and all that snow on the east coast. Do the ghost hunting apps really work? Has anyone actually tried them?

oh What do you guys know about ghosts or sightings of wierd creatures? I dont know, Sprirtual said it had to do with the weather somehow. I still have to ask him how. But anyways, I know here in Great Falls there is alot of haunted places, maybe because of the limestone. I plan to check them out somehow... Do you find this valuable? |

"But anyways, I know here in Great Falls there is alot of haunted places, maybe because of the limestone."0_0 What's the geology got to do with the mythology. Sorry. My two subjects of comparative knowledge have just been crossed and I'm clueless. Do you find this valuable? |

Well, being derived from limestone, they must automatically consist of limestone. Thus uses for hunting them down include: Architecture. Source material for quicklime, slaked lime, mortar and cement. Neutralise acidic soils. Base for roads. Medicines. So on so forth. And don't get me started on those succumbed to dolomitisation. Do you find this valuable? |

"And limestone spawns these? 0_0"No no, it attracts them for some odd reason. Wherever there is limestone, there is a lot more paranormal (expecaily ghosts) activity happens. Do you find this valuable? |

This has me thinking about "Tommy Knockers". The stuff in the ground attracted humans and made them psycho. So limestone attracts them, hmmm. I grew up in New Mexico and found that stuff all over(I liked the way it was layered) but I didn't experience any paranormal phenomina, neither did my friends, and that stuff was everywhere.

so it seems we have went a bit of well i believe that the spirits of the dead are not attracted to any one point eccet mabye if they are killed there or they have family members there yes they may go there and hang for a while but we must not look at the spirits of the dead as something we hear about in films and books they use to be real people like you guys and you should give them just as much respect Do you find this valuable? |

Hmm, I see. I'll pitch an idea.'If' they were attracted to limestone, it may have to do with that rock's high preservation potential. Limestones are often bustling with fossils, if not the entire fossil themselves. Unless the reasons for this lie in that magic/mineral stuff. I have little idea of how all that is suppose to work.
