On the topic of the "Dwarf"

I personally believe that Dwarfs, or Dwarves, whichever you prefer, in the mythical or legendary sense (as opposed to those who are affected by dwarfism) may have been real and may still be in existence, but if so, they are only in a very small number of isolated locations with a very small total population. I also believe that, if they are still in existence, that they may have changed, evolutionarily, to such an extent due to their various isolated habitats that they would possibly no longer be able to reproduce as a whole. I think it is quite plausible that dwarfs are/were hominids of some kind, or were possibly the result of a slightly different branch of evolution than our own. Hell, Homo heidelbergensis was real, and only went extinct quite recently, and there are even those who believe that the heidelbergensis is not, in fact, extinct at all. Anyways, I believe that dwarfs may very well have been existent at one point in time, but are most likely no longer alive. In regards to the proposed metallurgy skills that the dwarves seemed to have possessed as a whole, I do not know about the validity or probability of such claims, but I see no reason why it is not probable that they simply could have become more technologically advanced than our ancestors at one point in time or another. 9  out of 14 found this valuable. Dwarves are about 2 feet - 4'10" tall
There are variety of dwarves

I have Metaphyseal Chondraplasia
I am 3'8" tall
Most comom dwarfism is Achondraplasia
We live normal and like to be treated normal
Most myths are created from ignorant people who have no knowledge
What we don't understand we make it a myth or something completely different

We are just little people with restricted growth. Therefore short limbs

Love n peace out folks :)

youre an idiot. dwarfism is a medical condition, not a mystical one. im sure theres a dwarf out there that would readily kick your ass for a few bucks, but not with a warhammer or axe

I think you are wrong there, uni.
what the scienctific world may say is a disease, while it could simply be a genetic defect from elven blood, dwarf blood, ect.

I see it this way, if stories can cross countries, cultures, and time and had no internet or connections, then there is a high possiblities they at one time existed.
Maybe not like we know them now, but still...

Once again, dwarven weapons would be useless if they exist.I mean, battle axe, that's badarse, but in reality do you really think this "Enemy" will calmly wait for you to come in melee range, and than engage in honorable samurai knight ninja anime combat with you?Nope, he's going to headshot you call you a noob micspam and leave the area. The main reason I don't like guns is the harmful side effects.Shooting things hurts you more than you think, after 5-10 shots without ear protection with something strong, you won't be hearing much besides tinitus. Do you find this valuable?
