In actuality, although it is indeed from the The Secrets of the Immortal NIcholas Flamel series, the Elders mentioned within these series are from myths, so in a roundabout way, it is based on myths, meaning your swearing is : a) unappreciated and b) downright rude and not needed. The same goes for your comment, do your research next time

Yes. That author did research to create his book. He incorporated so many questionable things in history and myths to create a fictional answer to everything shown in history.

Even if it isn't based in mythology, the name is in itallics on the creature list, which means it is a fictional creature and should not be treated like a real mythical creature.
