SetThis is a featured page

The Ancient Egyptian god Set ( whose name is also spelled Seth, Sutekh or Seteh)was the god of chaos. It is said that originally Set was the god of storms, chaos, and desert, but after many years he became predominantly the god of chaos. Being the god of chaos, Set represented everything that endangered the harmony of Egypt. Sets' appearance was that of the body of a man and the head of a "set-animal." Egyptologists and scientists alike are baffled as to what Sets' head is a representation of, so they just say it is unidentifiable because it doesn't have a complete representation of any one animal.

*He was the brother of Osiris and Isis, as well as the brother/husband of Nepthys. He murdered his brother Osiris, then battled with his nephew Horus to be the ruler of the living. At certain times in the history of ancient Egypt, Seth was associated with royalty. *
