A "Sorrow Mark" is a birthmark appearing on the sides of the face of the creature born with it, that creature always known to be a dragon hybrid of sorts called a draki. This mark is believed to represent the being in question's ability that is not normal for the rest of the species. The "Sorrow Mark" is speculated to be in the shape of crescent moon with a small sphere accompanied by a larger sphere directly beneath it. Most possessors of this mark have the ability to absorb the sorrow of any creature it comes into contact with and replace that temporarily with the emotion that soul needs most. It is said that the "Sorrow Mark" only appears on one being every one thousand years. This creature is known as the Sorrow Dragon, and she is only shown in history as one every thousand years.
