This is a template page
Draki are a set of werefolk who came from the mix breeding of humans and dragons during the rennasaunce. They did this to prevent the dragon race from dieing out, so they bred with a cult who had worshiped them. Draki are not very weel known and live very secretive lives. They are kept hidden by wemen of the mist, who have been doing this for hundreds of years. They are hunted like prizes to be won, but never have harmed anything or anyone. They are in the form of humans and can shift into a dragon.
They prefere not to be called weredragons, due to their pride in there origins and there purpose. They are run in a way that mixes pack mentality and human monarchey. One thing about them that is special to all werefolk, is that every thousand years one of their kind is borne with the sorrow mark, beeing a rare and powerfull being, other species will try to kill her. Yes her, they are always born a female. Draki are usualy only preasant in the mountains or on isolated islands and do not usualy mingle with other species of high inteligence.
They are specific to areas near water and high altitude, and short snow seasons. They do not usualy comunicate with humans or other werefolk, but the small few will answer questions about them to a certain degree. They have stricked laws inside their communities and inforce them with low tollorence. Children usualy shift for the first time around the ages of 7 to 10 years old. The types vary as in there abilities. There is quite anumber of different types, and every so often you get one or two who are borne of shadow (Evil).
