A druin is a race of demonic wolves. They vary in height of approximately 7-10 feet from shoulders to paw. The Druins are known for their varied horn shapes, and piky bone-growths.Spikes anywhere else on their bodies are rare. They also have overlapping scales on their throat, belly, and tail, giving them a similar resemblance to a dragon. Their pupils are a combination of a cat's eye with a snake's eye. As with most species, their eye colors vary. Their necks, legs, and bodies are slightly long, Their colors vary in markings, and can don unnatural colors (and usually identify themselves with their Spirits/magic) They have retractable claws, and some also have dew claws. They also have opposable thumbs. Ears range from ten to fifteen inches long. Druins are known to be able to live for thousands of years, but very few are left. Younger, newer Druins can now only live at the most 100-130 years old. A Druin's tail is separated by segments and bone. Each segment represents a Druin's age and status. A Druin's sensitive tail grows longer each year when a new segment grows, but slows with age. When the tail is harmed, a new one will grow in a matter of a few weeks depending on the severity of the injury. They are carnivores that can consume twice their body weight. Their diet consists of large animals. They act as a wolf may do therefore live in as a pack. Some have even mated with regular wolves, or werewolves.
Culture: Druins widely accept the Etanian mythology as their religion. Etanian mythology Druins are a proud race. Any cubs sired by a Druin or even Half-Druin father take on the name of their father and the name of their grandfather as middle and last names. (ex: Charon's father is Tartarus and his Grandfather is Apollo, so his name would be Charon Tartarus Apollo). This applies to both male and female young. The name of the mother is never taken. Druins have their own language, called Druinish. Though completely quadrupedal, They do have the intelligence and capacity to build things.which helps them enjoy things such as building things, making a fire, ornaments, etc. Druins often wear jewelry, especially amulets or symbols such as feathers, beads, bone, necklaces, etc
Females: Females are more slender than males, The also tend to be faster An average female at the mature age of twelve years may give birth to a litter of two-three pups around Spring. The older a female druin gets, the more puppies she can produce. (around 15-20)
Males: The males are usually stronger, and bulker. They seem to always be the one in charge. Their decision making lacks.
