Blackfeather - Mythical Creatures Guide

Blackfeather is a very large crow-like creature. It stands approximately three times as tall as an American Crow, and has beady red eyes that seem to look almost human. It is said by many that Blackfeather does not get along well with other living creatures except for ravens, crows, and shadow dragons.
There are some who say Blackfeather is just one bird, but others claim to have seen small groups of these strange birds. Usually found living in dense forested areas, Blackfeather is rarely seen in groups of it's kind. Because of it's solitary tendencies, few are even aware of the existence of such a creature!
It is said that when Blackfeather shows itself, bad things are sure to follow. For example, in 2011 two teenage girls looked out of a window and saw a group of three of these strange birds. Not recognizing what bird it was, the first girl decided to research all known birds, but was unable to identify it. Meanwhile, the second girl left the building they had been in and was never heard from again. No one knows what happened to her, no body was ever found, and there were no traces left behind. She seemed to have just vanished. Meanwhile, the first girl slowly began to lose her mind and had to be committed to a psych ward, where she stays to this very day.
So, if you ever happen to see Blackfeather, be on guard for a life-changing event!
